The organisation's first initiative is to eliminate Crusted Scabies from remote Indigenous communities in Australia by 2022. Crusted scabies is a highly contagious and debilitating skin disease that affects 1 in 409 Indigenous people and if left untreated, these individuals have a 50% mortality rate over 5 years. Our Healthy Skin Program is culturally respectful and is built together with the Indigenous communities in which we work. In 2018 Dr Sam Prince was recognised for his work in One Disease and received the Ernst and Young Social Entrepreneur of the Year award.</image:caption>

<image:title>Portfolio - VENTURE - SODOTO.</image:title>
<image:caption>SO / See One, DO / Do One, TO / Teach One, otherwise known as Halsted’s paradigm, defined Sam's medical education. Medicine is a complex, nebulous and ever evolving field, much like entrepreneurship. Seeing the parallel, Sam employed Halsted's paradigm to both develop mastery, and develop skills in others. It all started with the first apprentice, Steve Chapman. Steve observed Sam as he started One Disease, Mejico and INDU (See One), and is now the CEO and co-founder of shine+ (Do One, Teach One), where he paid forward his insights and experience to his own apprentice. The SODOTO apprenticeship was how Sam solidified his thinking on entrepreneurship, and realise his unique approach to entrepreneurial practice & teaching. This was the spark that lit the fire that is now SODOTO, an organisation that is changing the way that entrepreneurship is understood, practiced and taught.</image:caption>
